CAMDEBOO YEARLING DIVISION

All the weanlings are taken to wide open spaces of the Camdeboo Farm just outside Graff-Reinet. The wide eyed weanlings are greeted by Kudu and loud barks from the Baboons in the morning. We believe the dry tough conditions make for a better racehorse. David Hampton and his team run the farm off which our sales yearlings are prepped.

PRE-TRAINING DIVISION

Our yearlings not destined for the sales are brought back to Drakenstein Stud Farm and pre-trained by Malan Du Toit and our skilled pre-training staff. The yearlings are taught to be racehorses while living out in the paddocks. We use our specially designed pre-training track which widen up the hill to the foot of the Groot Drakenstein Mountain Range.
