SNOW PILOT by Lancaster Bomber (a Champion son of War Front) is out of the Cape Fillies Guineas Gr.1 winner Snowdance (by Champion sire Captain Al) who hails from the Mystic Spring family one of the most successful families in the South African stud book.
While Lancaster Bomber only sired two crops of racing age, his mark was well and truly left on the South African turf; the sire of five Grade 1 winners including Eight On Eighteen, Beach Bomb, Rascova, Legend Of Arthur and Snow Pilot. After breaking his maiden by five lengths at Kenilworth Racetrack in July of his 2-year-old career, SNOW PILOT would go from maiden winner to Classic winner in little over 5 months. With creditable runs in the Langeman Gr.3, Cape Classic Gr.3 and Cape Punters Cup Gr.2, SNOW PILOT would exact revenge on all of his conquerors in the Cape Guineas Gr.1 including Champion Green With Envy, Hluhluwe and Questioning.
