The son of Western Winter ended the season having supplied an impressive 23 two-year-old winners, with What A Winter sired two-year-olds winning 33 races and earning R1 950 550 in prize money.
What A Winter’s two-year-olds last season included a host of promising performers, led by East Cape Nursery/Dahlia Plate winner Whatever Next, G3 Kenilworth Fillies Nursery runner up Winter Mosaic, Champion Juvenile Cup third Safari Blue, speedy filly Cold Fact, and the highly rated Anytime Champ.
His two-year-olds also included the unbeaten Mufasa -a winner of both his starts to date by an aggregate of seven and a half lengths and the game Danilo Danilovitch -a winner of three of his eight starts and third in the Listed World Sports Betting Somerset 1200.
